DIY Solder Oven/Heat Plate for SMD component soldering - Single Side PCB

• Any number of stacked PCB 4 layer PCB/ 6 layer PCB etc

• Single side components only shall be soldered with DIY setup

• Other side may have hand soldering components

2. Solid-state Relay 13A or mechanical 230VAC 13 A relay

3. Pid controller for temperature sensor

1. An Arduino based or inexpensive PID controller shall be used

Why Conformal Coating?

Conformal coating is a specially engineered polymeric film forming product that protects circuit boards, components, and other electronic devices from harmful environmental conditions like moisture, thermal shock, static, vibration, and contamination.

Conformal coating can protect PCB from the following, avoid corrosion and oxide building on metal parts, other damages to PCB from different environmental conditions.

• Humidity Exposure  
• Salt Mist Exposure  
• Exposing PCBs to a mixed gas
• Immersion in water (Most coatings will resist immersion for short periods of time)
• Hash environments - dust / industrial environment
